One of the Best Volt Meters

This thing is awesome, zero lag, and precise voltage readings. I would not plug this into my cigarette lighter tho, I wire it directly to distribution blocks or to the amp where the power is fluctuating the most.

Wonderful VoltMeter for a Good Price

This voltmeter is awesome, looks cool and is very responsive and accurate. I would not connect it to your cigarette lighter though. I have mine directly connected to my amplifier because that is where the most voltage drop will occur and it is also the most accurate when your system is out under load.

There is no doubt the analog is sooo much quicker in response. Such a great and affordable piece to add to your install. If you choose to keep the cig lighter, you can "trouble shoot" anyones ride.

I have one with the cig lighter, and one permanent.

Best voltage meter on the market ..currently hav 1 n my truck...works great ..looks great...simple to use ..mine came with a plug to use on a cig lighter plug ..I cut mine off n ran it straight into my main amp ..I'd suggest people do the same bc that's where ur biggest power draw will come from ..it'll read a lot more accurate directly into the amp ..

This voltage meter is great. Unlike digital meters this one is very accurate. It is very bright but the voltage numbers are spot on. Its made by SMD so you know its quality.

SMD VM-1

This meter gives you an accurate voltage nearly instantaneously. Other meters with digital readouts have spaced out refresh rates which only shows the average voltage every so often while this analog meter gives a very good reading of what your voltage is at at any given moment. Little pricey but if you're spending money a meter, might as well spend a few bucks more and get a good one. It comes with the cigarette lighter plug attached so you can plug it in and use it out of the box or cut that plug off and wire it in.
