good for beginners

This sub box is ok for the price, sounds better than you would think.

vibe audio slr10

Great little box with full sound capabilities, very good choise if you dont have a lot of space. It fits in my explorer with the third row seat up perfectly as if it was made specially for it. The 10 inch fills in very good well. Good sub, with enough sound for what ever you drive, Quality all around. The best of the sound is heard in your car, if you want supply your neighbors with noise, this is not for you.

Great sounding sub woofer...

I feel this subwoofer was a great buy. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a quality sub for a great price.

Not usable.

It showed up at my door in an undamaged box. I picked it up and put it under my arm and felt a heavy thud. Tilted it the other way, another thud. The speaker magnet came off the speaker. Waiting to see if Sonic Electronix will stand behind their products. The fact that this happened is pretty bad though. I've had solo-baric's go flying out of a car at 90 miles an hour and sustain no damage other than the box getting a few beat up corners. True story.

Quality at a bargain

Replaced a Dual bandpass unit which made noise and suffered excessive vibration. This Vibe unit is tight, crisp, accurate and quality sounding. Excellent for jazz and quality music. You won't be heard coming down the block but inside your vehicle it's great even with the windows open. If you're looking for a noise making ghetto blaster this unit is not for you. Excellent bang for your buck. I purchased a separate metal grille to protect the woofer for around $10-15.

quality sealed in a box

Just received my Vibe sub and installed it in about 5 mins, my vehicle was already pre-wired. My, my, my how sweet this sub sounds. Running it through a Crunch Ground Pounder GPV700.2 700 Maxx Watt Power A/B Class Two Channel Amplifier (Silver) and the quality of bass and sound is excellent. No hissing, feedback, popping, or muddied bass. The sound is sharp, tight, and very accurate, no overlapping bass notes and ridiculously excessive vibration (resonance) here. Had a bandpass before this one; that will never happen again.
This unit has more than ample clean and clear loudness. If you're trying to be seen, heard, annoy your neighbors, or attract hood rats, go with your typical LOUD noise maker :-)
I'm very pleased with this unit and would definitely recommend it. Excellent bang for the buck. I purchased it for cheap, free delivery; not bad for an imported item, by the way Vibe is JL for British market. By the way the workmanship and quality of material is evident as soon as you open the box it comes in.
