I bought a pair of these 6.5" Volfenhag speakers as my first set of replacements for my first modified car. This is a very beautiful speaker that is great eye candy for anyone who is into looks. The power rating is great when you read the box, however I believe no matter what the power rating, these speakers don't have as high of an RMS capability to back up to 450W Max power. The speakers themselves work quiet well, very well for a first time trial for a newer enthusiast, they can handle alot of power but when you really push them the tweeters bleed slightly and the bass just isn't thick enough for the lower bass. I was quite pleased with these speakers for about a year, and out of nowhere a tweeter broke loose on me and has wined since; not the most durable product out there, but it's great to start you off!

Beautiful sound

450 watt 6 1/2 speakers!!!! Sounds great no complication to date and I bought these about 4 months ago. In addition to the 4 x 10's in the back my car couldn't get much louder but seriously I think I need an amp. I now have 800 combined watts in the back and 900 in the front. I would recommend these to anyone lookin to save some money not some sound.

Awesome Speakers

These are great, more sound than you can handle in a 94 Ford Ranger. The bass is so great that I did not need any subs to be heard. Great sound on a small budget

Good for small budget

I bought 2 sets of these to replace the blown speakers in my '92 Civic (which I have since sold). Sound was pretty good for the cost. If you're just looking for something to get you by with, these work well.

needs power

just running off of the deck and they sound good needs more then 30 watts to sound better great sound cant complain for the price, not sure how long they will last.
