Ideal without losing that Type-C
I travel for educational presentations company to company across the nation and do enjoy using this when I connect to my projector via HDMI when giving the presentations.
Biggest thing is I do not lose my Type-C port. I can still keep my phone connected/charging or the laptop. Great value for an adapter that looks good and matches my macbook pro, compared to the cheap looking, but more expensive belkin piece I had.
