Large ring to fit all types of ignition cylinders.
Purchasing this immobilizer ring kit has improved my installation in the respect that I didn't have to give up a key for a potential thief to find in the dashboard. I removed the chip from the valet key which we never use, and installed it as per the directions. This gives you better security over your installation because it is mounted low by the box, and the signal is only read by the ignition when the remote start is activated.
The ring itself is fairly large; larger than my VW Tiguan's ignition. Fitment was a little awkward because I couldn't shorten it, but it fit snug around the panel channels. This ring is the perfect size for most push-to-start buttons or slots where the fob gets inserted into the dashboard. Wire length was adequate and instructions were very detailed. Overall, I give this product a 4/5 because I would like to see some adjustment options for the smaller ignition vehicles for easier installation.
