Q: Can you sell the box alone or empty?
A: No and there are multiple reasons. First, there is less than 1/4-inch between the magnet and the wall of the enclosure. We specifically created the enclosure to retain a maximum amount of trunk space. Second, the VS-series subwoofer is made to work great in a small sealed enclosure. Third, and related to the first two points, it would be very difficult to support individuals' specific questions regarding mounting and space. There are not many 500 watt RMS subwoofers that would fit. The VS performance and box were specifically matched during design and engineering.
Q: The VS-series sub and price seem unreal? Why is it so inexpensive on its own?
A: Many are fooled by the relatively low price of the VS-series, but it stacks up against other subs in its class that are 3x the price. NVX has disrupted the traditional sales channels and business model and offers a direct-to-consumer experience as our primary sales vehicle. There are no middlemen, dealers, reps, or distributors involved.

Shockingly good
After visiting my shop to inquire about adding some bass, and getting a really high quote for a custom box, sub and install, I decided to look online. I stumbled on this system from NVX and figured why not try to do it myself. Well, I did and I am sooooo glad I made that choice. I buy a lot online -- I mean appliances, clothes, everything -- I never thought about buying a sub system online and doing the install myself, but I found the videos, and discussion boards filled with tips so it wasn't bad at all. After a half day for me (sorry I am slow), I am here to say that my Tesla M3 never sounded so good as it does now. The sub is crisp, the box looks like it fits right into the Tesla production line and I have the extra bass that was really missing.

Sub was tested with other amp and did the same thing it sounds awful over a certain volume and I think it would actually be a beast other than the fact that it sounds like paper plates clapping together customer support has solved issue
