Bigger is certainly better. Alpine’s new iLX-F511 features an impressive 11” floating touch display that fits most single-din openings. It pivots up to 45 degrees forward or 20 degrees backwards. Its display is a magnificent resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels so every image and video is crystal clear and in focus. It’s is a mechless stereo, meaning there is no disc player, but media can be enjoyed in multiple different ways through dual rear USB, a rear HDMI connection, an aux input, Bluetooth and both wired and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It is also compatible with the iDatalink Maestro module that allows you to keep factory features that you’d otherwise lose when installing a new radio.
