The T1D412 Power Series 12" Subwoofer by Rockford Fosgate has a peak power rating of 1600 watts and a RMS rating of 800 watts. This sub will produce some ground shaking bass and is constructed with a kevlar fiber reinforced semi pressed paper cone and a VAST santoprene rubber surround. This woofer is also equipped with Inductive Damping Heat Sink, this helps radiate heat to reduce the voice coil temperature and keeps the sub operating at a safe operating temperature when pumping out high amounts of SPL. Add some bumps in your trunk and enhance your cars stereo system with this Power Series Subwoofer.
SWIFT: Selectable Woofer Impedance Fused Termination
Making installation faster and easier, Rockford Fosgate developed SWIFT terminals. This system allows the nominal impedance of voice coils to quickly be configured in a Series or Parallel wiring configuration. Removing and inverting the center plug, a Series or Parallel wiring configuration is accomplished. The removable jumper also provides fused protection in severe overload conditions.
IDHS: Inductive Damping Heat Sink
By securing the Inductive Dampening Heat Sink (IDHS) to the top of the magnet structure, Rockford Fosgate is able to improve the efficiency of their drivers. This is accomplished by reducing the amount of distortion and back Electro-Magnetic Force (EMF). The IDHS also radiates heat to reduce the temperature in the voice coil.
Anodized Aluminum Voice Coil Former
By using an anodized aluminum voice coil former on their subwoofers, Rockford Fosgate is able to dissipate heat from the voice coil more efficiently. A hot voice coil can melt the adhesive bonds, which will lead to eventual subwoofer failure. The aluminum voice coil former acts as a heat-sink to dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil cool during high SPL conditions.
Conforms to CEA-2031
Rockford Fosgate has built this subwoofer to conform to the CEA-2031 loudspeaker power handling industry standards. This means that you can trust the subwoofer to have the capacity to safely handle the continuous (RMS) power rating. Having a CEA-2031 power handling is important when matching a subwoofer to an amplifier because the power ratings are accurate.
Stitched Tinsel Leads
To improve the reliability and performance by reducing fatigue and possible shorting, Rockford Fosgate has stitched the tinsel leads to the spider. The multipoint periodic stitching lead wires reduce the mass of the tinsel leads to spread the stress over a greater area. This improves the reliability and performance of the subwoofer.
VAST: Vertical Attach Surround Technique
In order to increase the surface area of the cone without causing any installation issues, Rockford Fosgate designed the Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST). By redesigning the manner in which the surround adheres to the basket, these speakers gain up to 25% more effective radiating cone area. This improves the nominal efficiency and maximum output.

Holy bass!
This subwoofer is absolutely incredible! The bass is so clean and loud all without missing a beat, it puts out an insane amount of air. It also comes with security screws and a special drill bit to make sure not just anyone can remove it along with its own grille which was a nice bonus. I expect to be using this subwoofer for a long while. The only minor problem that I encountered was that the basket of this subwoofer had a little bit larger ridges so I had to modify my box a little bit but not a big problem for this absolute beast of a subwoofer!

Sounds great it's almost a little too much. I have it paired with an Audiobahn. This thing out performs anything I've ever heard. High Quality sound, not too bad on price. Be sure to understand it does require I think an 11" or 11.5" diameter opening. You may need to do some cutting on your box. Otherwise highly recommended. You won't regret spending a little more.

Heard one of these playing it sound quite wonderful the bass is clear and solid and sounds different to other subs. Talk about built it's the best and my most loved feature is the copper heatsink within to draw heat away from the huge voice coil so you can play longer and cooler unlike other brands

I've had to of these powered by a RF P1000.1 for over 4 years now and they're still slamming, once they break in they are beastly. I pulled everything from my truck to get it painted and I'm upgrading to a RF T2500.1bdcp, 2 T2D412's and a RFC10HB and can't wait to install them. Also having to do some additional power upgrades as well but thanks to Sonic Electronix for having everything I need.

I have two of these in a ported max flow box built to specs ran by an alpine 2 channel 2000 watt amp with a 0 gauge power lead and a 4 gauge lead going to each terminal. They sound better than any other subs that i have had and all my friends love them. The bass is very accurate and has a very solid kick to it. You can even run more than the recommended max power to it if you know what your doing.

I have one right now at 4ohms running on brutus brz 1700.1 @ 600 watts and this thing pounds really loud and very deep bass my box is 1.75 l ported, im planning to get another one and bring it down to 2ohm to get 1200 watts on the BRZ. i was debating in getting the 2ohm load to get to 1ohm at 1700watts but it might damage the Sub but 1200 for 2 sub should be more than adequate.
