I bought these for a cooler stereo I built. I hooked them up to a 240 watt marine amp and they have been able to handle everything. I play all kinds of music and they sound great for all genres. Great sounding 8 inch speakers.Tough to, You can spray water right in them and they still sound great. Great bass, I bought 4 for my boat with pioneer hi output super tuner with no amp and still get loud enough for me.
