PE-Series (Protea Enabled) amplifiers are far more than just another series of amplifier. The six 2-channel models boast a remarkable range of power all the way from 400 to 1900 watts per channel (@ 4 ohms), and their Ethernet functionalities certainly increase their already high value in professional audio applications. All PE-Series amplifiers are 2RU high, weigh less than 24lbs and will power 2, 4 or 8 ohm loads. Each amplifier also includes LED indicators for power, standby, protect, bridge mono, parallel mono and network communications, and are located on the left side of the front panel. On the right side, each channel has temperature and current indicators as well as a four-step signal meter.
PE-Series amplifiers incorporate state of the art control and power technologies. Each amplifier in the series can be monitored and controlled through the Ethernet port on the rear panel using standard, affordable Ethernet hardware and Protea NE Software™. This software gives you access to many diverse features, including real time control of input attenuation, channel mute, channel polarity, and even enables you to remotely power the unit on or off. Protea NE also allows you to monitor I/O level, protect, temperature, output current and clipping.
