Fantastic Beginner Speakers
I purchased these as beginner speakers and they worked well for what I bought them for. As I began becoming more knowledgeable regarding sound and equipment, I realized these are definitly low end speakers though. The speakers have very good high end sound and not as good with the low end. These speakers were used for karaoke purposes and limited DJ purposes. They are heavy to carry, but easy to take apart in the event you need to get into the cabinet. The cabinet is wooden with carpet covering, so outside parties can be a problem if there are many leaves blowing around or other debris that can stick to the carpet. The speakers are decent, but not my top pick if I were to buy passive speakers again.
