Great box really heavy plenty of internal bracing using nvx 10 great match had to trim box slightly to fit sound as good as jl for a fraction of the price, unfortunately it said in stock when I ordered and I received it almost 6 weeks later but worth the wait best prefab box i have had

Included with a W7 purchase, decent box to get you playing....

If you have been in this industry, you know what you're getting.

The box is definitely NOT built to the (W7) sub spec as described. It may be "designed for a W7" but is not built to the warranty parameters of the W7 set forth by JL. You spent the money on a W7, you're either an audiophile, or a fool.... Show the sub the respect it deserves, and allow it to serve gracefully from within a properly built custom enclosure!

However, the purpose of the box is (was) a "deal" that can get you up and running instantly (until you provide your W7 with a proper habitat). The box will not "damage" your W7 per-say, but again.... It is decently built due to the 1" front baffle, typical "box", the terminal cup is junk, I replaced mine prior to install, the carpet was tight, corners were chipped in shipping, the sub opening (mounting hole) is cut very large, true tuning is @39hz, size is closer to 1.2cu ft, sounds good for what it is and worked until we can build a custom enclosure. (My enclosure was included with a JL W7 during a recent sale)

Well built cabinet

I am using this box as the woofer cabinet for a 3 way floor standing speaker design. I am standing on end, added a base and spiked feet and added the midrange and tweeter on a separate structure attached to the top of the box. The box is very well built with a 1 inch face. For the price it is less expensive and much better then what I could build myself. Saves me a lot of time.

Very well built. But it has to be larger than the 1.1 cu ft stated. I bought it to put a ct sounds meso in it,which requires apx 1.0 cu ft. After some adjustments to the box, including having to make the hole an inch bigger to fit the sub. Turned out pretty good.

Solid Box

Great build only thing is i do not know if its my Nvx Vcw104 or the box but i have no chance of fitting this sub in the box. The hole is just a touch over 9 inches wide i can not even fit half the sub down in. I have to go to a stereo shop and have them widen the hole so i could fit my sub in. very disappointing got all my gear and can not install it for a few weeks
