This is a sturdy travel worthy pedal that has outstanding qualities. With volume, gain and tone controls. The overdrive and distortion this creates is better than one can find on any amp, solid state or tube. And it is very gradual and controllable. The gain is warm, and stays pretty clean up to about twenty five percent, so you can actually use this to good effect even with an acoustic guitar. Indispensable for blues of any style. Great investment and built to be used a lot.
