Awesome
I'm picky about sound, and these sound great. Replaced some other aftermarket 6x9's with these. Great bass, would never know that they have a relatively shallow mounting depth. Fit in the doors of my Tacoma 2012. Ridiculous power handling. I'm no 6x9 aficionado, but they're the best I've heard.

Since my sub was over powering my highs and mids, I bought these to help level out the playing field and these 6x9's deliver! Worth every penny! I recommend you hook them up to an amp, they'll definitely help your highs and mids out!

I put these in a 92 Dodge Ram Pickup. Speaker location is not great in the first place seat partially blocks them. Overall sound quality is great having had JBL speakers in the past both Home and Auto. First problem I had is I did not have mirror imaged so one of the speakers fired the tweeter into the seat even more (no matter how I turned the speakers to make them work). One thing I did not like was the plastic housing for the speaker instead of metal. Also in the design of the mounting system for a flush mount is not the greatest, which is what I have in my doors. This truck is not a very smooth riding truck in the first place (rides like a lumber truck). I fear the housing is going to crack and break over time, only time will tell on that. To get a better sound image in this truck i put JL Audio tweeters on the pillars for the window to pull the high up to where you can hear the highs better. Advise from a Audio Shop it worked. Part of the problem is the design of the truck not the speaker. They are still a real good sounding speaker overall. They were put in as an upgrade from some cheap speakers I put in years ago. They made a Huge difference in the sound quality compared to the ones that I replaced for the better.

I bought these speakers for my 2015 RAM 1500, Speakers look nice but they would not fit in either front or back doors, even though it said it would fit. It is not an issue of the depth but the plastic speaker frame that comes down the back to the magnet, making them too wide for installation behind door panel. I ended up going with the JBL GX962, they fit perfect and sound great, night and day better over stock speakers, even with the stock head unit.
