Great sound for a Shallow Speaker

I ordered this product because of how shallow the mounting depth is. I was very impressed that I was able to get them to slip right in with the perfect clearance of my factory speakers. These have made an excellent replacement for my old tired paper cone factory speakers. The sound is a little brighter than the paper ones because these have a plastic/polymer cones, but they sound great. If you are looking for a shallow mount speaker for a factory replacement, these will not disappoint you.

these speakers fit my1984 dash. I can haven't found a good reasonable priced radio that fits the dash so I can try out the speakers.

stock speaker replacement

these speakers replaced the stock paper speakers in my 4runner.
the stock speakers were blown.
the stock speakers had a bigger magnet, better bass.
the new speakers are clearer sounding with less bass.
so on a 18 watt x 4 head unit they get distorted when u turn it up over the half way point, same with the stock ones.
no difference in decibels. not for high end sound. equal to 20 year old stock speakers of same size.

Sound like c--p, the original equipment speakers sound better do not waist your time or money, spend a little more and get better speakers

Great Mid-End Car 2 Way Speaker.

I Think for the Price, These are Very Economical and Value Proportionate. They Came on the Truck I Bought.
Must be Under 3" mount depth. Easy to install.
4 ohms means better chance for not blowing it over 2 ohm.

Recommended for Thoughts Looking for Cleaner Audio that is Amplified.

I Personally Prefer the Alpine 100w rms but those are high end.

These are good but not audiophile grade.

Another Good Deal

Bought Kenwood Replacement's for my car a few years ago, they sound great. My wifes car needed speakers so i got her Kenwood's they sound great too.
