The DEH-X6700BT CD receiver features Pioneer's MIXTRAX technology, built-in Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming, USB direct control of an iPod or iPhone, USB access to music on Android devices (4.0 or later), and Pandora for both iPhone and Android. In addition to an updated cosmetic design, the DEH-DX6700BT include updated feature enhancements like Bluetooth USB pairing and Siri Eyes Free voice recognition compatibility (for iPhone 4s and later).
The Pioneer DEH-X6700BT's built-in Bluetooth allows you to make hands-free calls and stream your music via A2DP audio streaming. No more wires cluttering up your dash to listen to your music, or uncomfortable Bluetooth headsets required. Life just became a little more easy.
The Pioneer DEH-X6700BT's allows the user to control Pandora Internet Radio directly for the headunit. Now you can listen to your favorite Pandora stations anytime you want.
The Pioneer DEH-X6700BT features Android Media Transfer Protocol. When streaming music you'll be able to see song names and track tiles on the headunit's display. That means no more having to look at your phone to play that special song.
If you have an Apple device such as an iPhone or iPod the Pioneer DEH-X6700BT has you covered. When connected to the headunit you can use to make calls and play music. You have 2-way control through your headunit. This gives you more time to focus on the road.
The Pioneer DEH-X6700BT allows the use of Universal Steering Wheel Controllers. The user can program the aftermarket steering wheel controller to work with their vehicles steering wheel controls. This allows you to spend more time looking at the road.

Nice and Easy
I took out a TV radio to put in this Pioneer! And as usual I was not disappointed. It is really easy to use and the CD still plays in the trails. I have this radio in a lifted 2000 Cherokee Sport..

Great sound but performance is a little iffy, each time i use the bluetooth (only the bluetooth) I get a one, White noise for about 3 seconds then a brief silence for about 3 seconds then everything works as expected and beyond.
other than this glitch, things seem fine...

This is a nice low end unit. The reason I did not want a higher end unit is the rear location of the USB/aux port on most of them which requires a cable extension. This unit is compact and low cost and works fine. This unit at its brightest setting does not generate night-time glare; however, I think theLED screen in daylight is difficult to see, but I don't find that much of a reason to downgrade the rating substantially. I wish Pioneer/Kenwood would make a low cost unit with a better screen or a higher end unit with AUX/USB ports integrated into the front face of the unit. I didn't want any trouble accessing the AUX/USB connections or dangling cords that'd I'd have to fumble with, so I immediately passed on a lot of the more costly Pioneer and Kenwood CD and DVD units for that reason.
