would this kit be good to conect a second battery in the trunk of my car? if yes what fuse should i use?
mayitodmngz m on Dec 2, 2014
Best Answer: Hello,

Terry is spot on. We do not have Near enough information to give you the Ok. Yes xkit will work well for a secondary battery install, and it has a fuse with it that might be enough. However, if the second battery is Very Big then the fuse isn't enough, and if the car is a - say - a Miata, the kit has Way too much cable. In any event, you need to be more specific.
Also, you may want to Instead consider a 'Secondary Battery Installation Kit', link below. You will save money in the long run, and will also include everything you need and nothing you don't.

Best Answer: This product worked very well, I haven't had any problems with it for the two years that it's been installed in my car. So far I love it and most likely will choose NVX again.

will these wires be able to handle 1100w rms with a short distance from the amp to my sub?
A shopper on Sep 14, 2015
Best Answer: 1100 watts equals 92 amps for a 12 volt system. Watts=amps x volts. So you want to figure out Amps. So amps=watts/volts. 92 amps is with in the working range of the 4 gauge wire. Yes this kit will work for you.

Can I use these RCA cables for my Pioneer DEH-X6600BT head unit?

Pioneer DEH-X6600BT
Best Answer: Yes. Basically all rca cables are the same. While some are made of better material, they all have the same function. As long as the deck has the outputs on the back (usually red and white). Most after market decks have this option (unless it's over ten years old). While they will work, it's good to measure the distance from your deck to the amp, making sure you have a decent amount of slack to tuck and hide away as needed.

Hi I'm planning on ordering the Pioneer TS-SWX2502 with the Pioneer GM-D9601 amp. If I order it with the NVX XKIT42 amplifier wiring kit that is everything I would need to set this system up? Also is 4 gauge wiring to big for this system? If it is what is the next smaller alternative within the NVX kits i should get?

Best Answer: Hell Austin,

The XKIT42 provides all the basic IMPORTANT parts to install the amplifier. No two installs are alike, so there will always be the chance that you will need a random connection not included. This seldom happens, but plan accordingly to make sure you have access to parts.
In regards to the Power/Ground Wire, the 4 Gauge will insure that the amplifier runs VERY happily throughout the duration of its life. However, the figures you plan on running - i.e. ~400-500w RMS - technically only calls for 8 Gauge OFC, like the NVX XKIT82 .
