I Have 3 12inch D2 type r alpine subs want to buy 3 amps one for each subs will i get 1000 watts rms on each sub wired to down every amp to 1ohm since the amp says its 1ohm stable?
al1994 on Dec 3, 2016
Best Answer: Hello Alex!
This amp is pushing around 1000 watts according to Hifonics.
So thats what youll get on 1 ohm. Make sure you match your amps up to your subs.Or the units will heat up and it will create clipping. The amp will heat up and go into protect mode and shut off and will turn back on when it cools off.And that could b a pain in the neck when your are trying to enjoy your new system.
You always want to give your amp a sub it can handle. You can adjust the difference on the amp by fine tuning as long is not too much wattage. People in their right mind will never fill a 32 oz. cup with 40 ounces of water so why do that to an amp. Give it a little room to avoid spills. In this case give a little room so that the amp doesn't overheat and some room to the sub to prevent damage. (I also recommend the BIG 3 for this set up it will hit hard and consume a lot of power from your vehicle.) HAVE FUN N GOOD LUCK!

Best Answer: Hi Josh,

If you are Specifically referring to 2 Pack of Kicker C124 (07C124), then the amplifier is providing TOO much power. But, if you are speaking generally, then technically yes.

can the the amp hold a 2ohm subwoofer?
heather j on Sep 9, 2015
Best Answer: Hello Heather,

The amplifier provides a 2ohm Rating, implying that it is , like its other ratings, stable at that impedance. So, yes.

Will this power a 15 inch Alpine type R SWR-1522. 2ohm?
Colin D on May 30, 2017
Best Answer: If you have one sub then base your amp wattage off the wattage of your sub is the only advice I can really offer. If that doesn't work for you go do plenty of research. I used this amp with a 1000w 10in alpine type-s sub and it worked perfectly.

would this amp push 2 12"s?
pacat on Oct 13, 2016
Best Answer: Hello Kendrick,

This amplifier can push anything from one 1" to one hundred 20"s if you wanted to. The important part here, however, are the power ratings NOT the size. As such, we suggest revising your question, but instead provide the thread with the actual model number of the subwoofers (not a vague description.) Or you can give our sales team a call. =]

Powering one P3d4-12 , how does this amp compare to the HFi1000.1d? Trying to decide which amp to get (for now while budget is tight). On paper the BRX and HFi are just 50W rms apart at 2 ohms with a $10 price difference. Help me out, pros and cons to choose one over the other please. thanks

Best Answer: At this point you are just looking at specifics. Looks, larger or smaller profile, that's really about it. I love my current setup (P3D4-12 as well). You'll never notice 50rms in real life situations. Maybe in a perfect lab situation. I needed smaller form factor to fit it under my drivers seat.

What does the 3 year warrnaty cover?
A shopper on Aug 16, 2014
Best Answer: Hello,

It is an extension of the manufacture's warranty, in principal; You simply take your case to SquareTrade should a problem come up. So, Parts and Labor. The great thing about SquareTrade is they actually have the resources to cover shipping to and from, and have an awesome program to get you squared away [pun] quickly. http://www.squaretrade.com/promise .
Of course, what it Doesn't cover, is improper use and abuse. So please don't try to wire this down to .5 ohms , just because you read its possible....no, its not.
