If you install an aftermarket stereo you need this to retain factory antenna. It does its job.

Worked perfectly, great radio reception.

I connected the blue antenna amplifier wire to my remote turn on wire coming from my head unit. Antenna function is perfect. I recommend using insulated butt connectors to connect wires together as this will eliminate any unwanted voltage drops in the system. This harness fit perfectly and allowed for the use of my factory window antenna. No complaints, thank you Metra for supplying the necessary wiring harnesses to consumers at excellent prices.

I have a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder with a pioneer radio where does the blue wire on the antenna connector go?

Hi guys I just bought this Metra 40-Ni12 to plug with a Pioneer AVH-290BT to my 2012 Nissan Versa HB..but I have bad radio reception and I already check twice the connections with the blue wire connected to the Pioneer white/blue wire but doesn't work..any help or advice?
A shopper on Jun 1, 2017
Best Answer: I have the same issue with my 2012 Nissan Sentra. Whenever I have time to take the radio back out, I plan to connect the blue wire directly to the blue wire from the car, not the radio. I believe the antenna on our vehicles may have a built in amplifier that the radio might not have sufficient power for.

Will this work in a 2015 Nissan Sv?
A shopper on Apr 12, 2016
Best Answer: Hello,

Please correct us if we are wrong, but "SV" is a Nisan Trim level and not a Model. (e.g. Altima SV, Sentra SV, Rogue SV, etc...)
