It was a great value for the features, but you get what you pay for
The Car Audio system--- Dual XDVDN8190 comes loaded with features right out of the box. Starting with the GPS-navigation portion of the unit, I would like to say I was very pleased with it. It allows for a 10 second start up time, and is fairly easy to use. The only downfall of the car-audio/car-stereo/gps-navigation head unit is that it does not play your song from the point of which it was playing during your car ride. In other words, when you are listening to a song, and its at 1 minute and 30 seconds, and then you turn your car off, it will restart the song from the beginning. Other than that, you cannot get any other car-audio/car-stereo/gps-navigation head unit/car-stereo on the market for anything cheaper than this. Granted, I bought it for 500 dollars back in '08, but even then It was the a great deal. Now, it is even a better deal, and I would recommend it to the beginner/intermediate car audio guru.

This is the perfect unit! I bought it recently from sonic electronix and the price is a lot lower than the other online dealers. Everything is perfect with this product(GPS, Bluetooth, Ipod control etc...) If you want a very good unit for your car, buy this one.

overall a great unit, it does have a few quarks, like all gps when searching for a destination you have to spell it correctly, clearcreek park vs clear creek park. It is difficult to move the map display around to view areas not on the screen. once in a while my ipod needs reset after using the pause button on the head unit. apple or dual problem. I have no experience with dvd signal to monitors in the back seat or a backup camera. I wish it displayed radio station programing data and recieved hd radio. maybe next gen

Bought unit 8 months ago, problems began on the day installed. Engine whine that never went away, GPS that was constantly searching for satellite signal, iPod shuffle feature is not a shuffle it plays the same tracks every time even though my playlist is over 3000 songs. Does not charge newer apple products, you have to buy a separate adapter for that. Touch screen is very poor, even after constantly calibrating it. Radio stations on both AM and FM come in poorly. I would never recommend this product to anyone, even enemies. It finally died this past week. Save yourself the trouble and buy a quality unit.

Great radio. Has great sound even when using the bluetooth. Only draw back is the brightness of the radio display, closed position, as it can not be dimmed. GPS maps are on an equal par as my Garmin maps, just easier to read. Have had the radio just over a month and logged over 3,000 miles using the GPS..Great unit. Easy to install.

I bought this knowing it was entry level. The GPS takes time to get used to and it's not a Garmin. It can get frustrating at times. The Bluetooth is a great feature but the people calling could never hear me when I was driving so I bought an earpiece a few months later. The iPod feature is great. It works well.
I would recommend it only if you were looking to clear up your dash of GPS.

I would not recommend this unit. I work at a stereo shop and a customer bought this unit from this site and had all kinds of problems out of it. Navigation would not work when hooked up. Took about 30 minutes of resetting the unit for it to finally come up. Bluetooth would not pair with the phone. the only thing that worked great on the unit was the backup camera...no flaws in it.

well the bluetooth is the best feature on the radio .you talk just like there sitting right beside you.you don't even have to lean up to talk ,be comfortable and keep your eyes on the road

Great system, sounds as expected. The only drawbacks were the lack of Satellite support, and the 2 gig limitation on SD memory.
