I bought this amp to power two 15 inch T-5 subs. Even at 2 ohms, it knocks my rear view mirror off every other week.

very nice amp for the money. i have it wired at 2ohms to a 15" alpine type r in a 3 cubic foot ported box and the sub pounds like crazy. if i ever get another vehicle with room to spare im going with this same combo again.

i currently have this baby pushing two 12" memphis mojos and so far so good. the only thing is that you will need a bigger alternator and a better battery, or better yet a capacitor. or you will kill the battery. but bottom line it is very powerful.

not a bad amp for the money

I have this powering 2 Kicker L5 15's and a 4000d version powering my other 15" L5s and yes this amp is overrated but it has done bench tests at high voltage at 2200 rms so if you want cheap power go with this these amps are very good for the price

I think this amp is truly over rated. I did have the older ps1 series [that fried] and they sent this to replace it. This has less copper, less guts, and does not seem as powerful. these amps would be lucky to produce 2000 rms. If you can accept inflated power specs then this is good for the dollar.

Well I've had two of these amps so far, and both of them blew up eventually. First one lasted a whopping 35 mins, then just refused to kick out of protection mode, i benched it multiple times with different subs and head-units, and nothing. Sent it back got another which lasted 5 months, while it lasted it was OK at best i guess it to push about 1400-1500 watts at 1ohm. I'm pretty sure that's the problem, i don't think these amps are meant to be constantly run at 1ohm. Both of mine started cutting out during bass heavy sections or if i had it up, and then just quit working.
