When you think MB Quarts couldn't make anything else more awesome. For being as cheap as they are and how awesome they look, that is just the beginning. Got two of these and put them in two pro box enclosures. Put the MB Quart 710.5 amp on them and they hit so hard I have to keep the bass down unless I want to show it off. Awesome job

Round/Circle: This is the typical and common subwoofer design. They have a round cone and are a circle in design.
Square: These woofers are able to achieve a greater cone area in a smaller space. Because of the greater surface area, some square subwoofers will be louder than a round subwoofer of the same size.
Efficiency (1w/1m) is not an accurate indicator of a subwoofer's output capability and should not be used as a comparison to other speakers or subwoofers to determine which one is "louder".
Shallow mount speakers will typically have a mounting depth of 2" or less, while shallow mount subwoofers will typically have a mounting depth of 3" or less.
Sealed: These enclosures completely enclose the air inside the box. These boxes produce a tight bass.
Ported/Vented: These enclosures have a slot of air to escape from the box. The result is a sound that has more "boom".
Bandpass: These are a combination of both sealed and ported enclosures. They can be very efficient, but require tuning for the best response.

One of the cleanest sounding amps I have ever used. Installed over 15 of these last summer and never a complaint or service call, who could ask for more? highly recommend to anyone looking for the highest quality product, plus a great price.

Purchased this 6 months ago for my pontoon. With the assistance of my helpful Sonic Elec. rep I went with the Clarion deck, 2 MB quart marine amps, 2 pair of MB Quart 6.5's & 2 - 10" MB quart subs... this baby jams. No issues thus far, very happy with my purchase.

Just installed a pair of these today along with two pairs of the NKF 116's. Wow...MBQ did not let me down! I was worried about the lower RMS ratings on both, but these truly crank with lesser power amps. I was worried about not having enough power...these speakers don't require it.
Crystal clear, just like MBQ's mid's/high's have long since been known for.
Now we just have to see how long they last on the boat/saltwater.
Almost forgot, thanks Sonic for the great C.S., fast shipping, great prices!!!

For the money no IB sub I have ever used can match the abuse this sub can take, feed it some power and it pounds

Great stuff. I got shipped the Sony XS-MP1620W th same week my mistake and took a few minutes to compare both. The MB quart are more precise, and less distortion than the Sony's.
I kept the MB's, returned the Sony. Peak power was stronger too.

Top of the line subwoofer at a reasonable price! Installed on my boat last weekend and was finally able to dial my system in. Highly recommend this product.

can't believe the price on this, it's built and looks like a $300 sub. Heavier than I thought- the magnet is a brute. It sounds great in my boat with minimal amp- 100 watts rms, would buy again
