Front Speaker Specifications

Speaker Grilles
A grating or screen of metal or plastic bars or wires, mounted in front of a speaker as protection. If yes, the speakers will include matching speaker grilles. If no, there are no grilles included.

An "EMIT" tweeter was introduced by industry leader Infinity. "EMIT" is the acronym for Electro Magnetic Induction Tweeter. They are a thin piece of plastic material with an etched voice coil on the surface of them suspended between 2 very powerful Samarium Cobalt magnets. This design is the key to the EMIT tweeters super fast, crystal clear high end sound.

A whizzer tweeter is a separate tweeter cone driven by the voice coil of the woofer.

I know these are budget MB Quart, but they have excellent sound. Clear crisp and even bass for a 6.5. Definitely a value at the price and much better than other brands I've bought in this range.

I recommend these speakers. The 6.5 woofer shakes my door where a 6x9 could not.The tweeters are very bright and tight.I control them with my equalizer. The cross over is super small so that its under my carpet. But the best thing is the price 52 bucks come on that's crazy low. Best speakers I ever owned. Also powered with 75 watts I cut them off at 50hz.

Great speakers at an unbelievable price. They sound very crisp and clean. Dont let the name fool you, i envisioned 'discus' to mean shallower speakers width wise but they are pretty deep. Had to put 2 1/2 inch spacers to stop my window from hitting on the way down but totally worth it. Car is 03 WRX and i used them in the front doors. One bit of confusion i had was which wire on the tweeter was positive. I used the striped wire as the negative and sounds great but better marking on mb quarts part would be good. Great purchase, what are you waiting for.
