The Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1010BK is a compact, easy to carry camcorder that you can take with you anywhere. This camcorder will allows you to take stunning full HD Videos at any time. The HD1010 is well-balanced, and designed to fit comfortably in one hand so you can enjoy shooting sessions without making your wrists tired.

The Xacti VPC-HD1010 comes with MPEG-4 AVC/H264 formatting for high-compression recording. Although the files maybe small, the picture still has great quality and may be even better than DVD (MPEG-2). The high-speed shooting mode enables a smooth slow-motion playback and with the help of a digital image stabilizer, it eliminates the effects of unwanted shaking. The Sanyo HD1010 incorporates the latest in high-definition CMOS sensor to capture either 1920x1080 (1080p) high-definition video at 30 frames-per-second or 1920x1080 (1080i) high-definition video at 60 fields-per-second. The sensor provide responsiveness needed to capture fast-moving objects without making them blurry and the noise reduction technology obtains the clearest signal possible.

I have been in the television /film over 35 years(yes I started young). This camera is amazing. Color & picture quality as good as cameras costing thousands. Just wish it had 2 audio inputs.
