The Hifonics HFi100.2 informs you of its main objective in the name, Hi-Fi audio. High end sound processing is its main focus, however it continues to bring value to the table by providing high power output in an pleasantly small chassis. The illuminating retro Hifonics logo brings an old-school look back into their new series.
This two channel amplifier combines quality signal processing, with bulk power. At 4 Ohms, an impressive 100W RMS outputs to two channels, and at 2 Ohms, a full 200W RMS is output. This means clean, high power for two door speakers. You can also bridge the channels together, to provide 400W RMS at 4 Ohms to one channel.
This incredible power output is combined with the HFi series of amplifiers integrated high-dissipation heat-sink design, and built-in system diagnostics. Affordability does not have to sacrifice value or sound quality – making the HFi100.2 multi-channels the perfect choice.

Good Bang for the buck But...
Got this amp as part of a package deal. The amp itself is great bang for the buck but unfortunately it is not powerful enough for the sub that came with my package. Its like its almost enough but not quite. I would recommend 6 or 4 gauge wire. The 8 gauge wire that came with the package deal I got is just not thick enough. This amp does draw some current but if your electrical system is up to par this amp can really deliver. Keep in mind that bridged it is 400 watt RMS but it is also 400 Watt Peak so if you have a higher peak sub i would say get a different amp. IMO This would be great for a 10" or 12" without high power requirements.

I bought this amp for my wife's car about six months ago and it hasn't let me down yet. It push all the power her 12" sub needs and sets the whole system off. I recommend this amp to anyone.

Ignore my previous review, it was intended for the subs I recently purchased, not this amp I bought for a customer's car previously.
Amp was amazing, lots of power and perfectly matched up with the sub that came with the combo... hit VERY hard and never overheated. No complaints... been a long time Maxxsonics customer and will continue to be.

Ive never owned Hifonics before. I was restoring two projects at once, my 68 SS Camaro and a 72 C-10 Truck. After months of blogs, research and money going out faster than coming in, I looked away from the other Highly advertized brands and looked into the Hifonics brand who is made along with MB quarts, & Crunch for the power, warranty and price I couldn't be more excited with my decision. I've only had them installed a few months but man do they push and I haven't had any problems what so ever. Thanks Sonic Electronix for carring Hifonics products.

found this helpful.Good performing amp
I'm running two pairs of 6.5" speakers, a set of MB Quart components up front and a set of Cerwin Vega coaxial speakers in back of my 98 Honda Odyssey. Clarity and power are outstanding when using the integrated high pass filter. No issues what so ever and I tend to play it loud. No instability and the amp never runs even warm. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this wonderfully priced and performing amplifier again.

So i ordered this amp a while back but my car broke and i got rid of it and have yet to install it. It's a very light amp and has very small power supply inside and cheap looking circuitry, looks like it will get hot quick which takes away from SQ but i bet it will work ok i doubt it pushes the power it claims.
