MP3 should not be confused with MPEG-3. MP3 files are the third audio layer of a MPEG-1 file. The compression algorithm of a MP3 file reduces the file size while keeping the audio quality.
WMA stands for Windows Media Audio and was developed by Microsoft. It is a file used specifically for audio.
The audio compression AAC stands for Advanced Audio Coding. They generally tend to have better sound quality than most MP3 files.

I am very please with the Pioneer CDX-P1280 Changer. I am most pleased because it hold 12 CDs. I also like the idea that the changer can be removed form the housing and I can take it into the house and refill the 12 CDs at my leisure.

I have this product over six months and it has worked to perfection. Its instalation is very easy and when driving, it never skips the CD, even if you go through a little bumps on the road.It is a really good choice to buy.

I am not a knowledgable person when it comes to electronics - a few years ago i had the Pioneer 12 disk changer installed. This year something went wrong and after searching on the net I found that Sonic could replace the same unit at a lower cost than repairing the original! Unbelievable since I actually installed it myself - the connectors all matched and then I just pushed the buttons. Of course the price was the real hook for me, since I came home with a quote to install something similar which was 20 dollars more than Sonics price for the 12 disk model.

Reads my cd-r's and handels 12 discs! How can you go wrong. Pioneer probably has the best changers that cost half the price of others. I have had this changer for a year now and I have not had any complaints. Great changer!

I got this with my Pioneer in-dash system with the IP-Bus connector, no more have to change CD's out over and over again. I just load all my favorite CD's in the Changer and don't have to look for them in the car no more.
