The grill is both decorative and protective, preventing the Subwoofer from accidental damage from other items, such as golf clubs, groceries or book bags that might be tossed into the cargo area where the Bazooka Woofers are typically mounted.
Bazooka's highly efficient, customized woofers are specially designed and reinforced for use in the Bazooka Bass Tube enclosure, producing a pure piston action and generating the maximum bass output possible.
All Bazooka Woofers used in Bass Tube enclosures feature large, high excursion, lightweight foam edge rolls to maximize their efficiency and overall bass output.
A tube is a natural pressure vessel, and Bass is about pressure. The patented Bass Tube enclosure creates a natural, uniform, hydraulic transfer of the Bass energy produced by the woofer.
The port opening between the Tube Enclosure and the Port Tube allows for efficient transfer of bass. Bass Tubes enclosures utilize "Bass Reflex" technology to take advantage of both the forward and backward of the woofer, wasting no bass energy.
The bass energy created by both the forward and backward motion of the woofer are time aligned so that 100% of the woofer's output is concentrated into one output point.
Acoustic Damping Fiber
The acoustic damping material helps lower the resonance of the enclosure and simulates an increased air space.
The integrated amplifiers are performance matched to the specific woofers used in Bass Tube enclosures to ensure that every watt of power is efficiently turned into bass performance. Having the amplifier integrated into the enclosure simplifies the installation and eliminates power loss.
Bass Tube enclosures are specifically designed to take advantage of the natural amplification characteristics that occur when a subwoofer is placed into the corner of a vehicle. The corner acts like a megaphone, substantially increasing bass performance.
Installation is Simple! The bass tube comes with straps to keep the sub securely mounted, while still making removal quick and easy if you need even more cargo room. Optional Chrome-Plated UMS Brackets give a flashier look, as well as a more secure, permanent mounting when removal isn't a problem.

An amplifier increases the power of the signal being fed to it by taking energy from its power supply and matching the signal but increasing its amplitude. Amplifiers use many different methods for converting these electrical signals and have been categorized into classes.
Class A/B: Greater than 50% of the input signal is amplified while the other percentage is “off”. These amplifiers have a small amount of current flowing through the output transistors all the time which almost eliminates crossover distortion. Class A/B has great sound quality but is not as efficient as class D. These amps are most commonly used to drive speakers.
Class D: Also known as switching amplifiers, class D amps have output transistors that are completely turned “on” or “off”. This means that when the transistors are on, there is almost no voltage across them but when they are off there is significant voltage but no current flowing through it which makes these amplifiers very efficient at the cost of sound quality. These amps are most commonly used to drive subwoofers.Other Classes: You may see classes such as GH, bD, X, FD, etc. by some manufactures. These amplifiers tend to be either class A/B, D or a hybrid of the two but with improvements to their designs that can make them more efficient or offer better sound quality.
RMS power is the amount of continuous power, measured in watts, that an amplifier produces is called RMS power. The higher the RMS figure, the louder and cleaner your music sounds.
The RMS output figure is much more accurate than the peak rating when comparing products.
The steepness of the roll-off slope is measured in dB/octave and refers to the rate of attenuation (lowering of volume) outside their pass bands.
- RMS Power
- Signal-to-Noise Ratio
This rating applies to both external car amplifiers, as well as the amplifiers inside of in-dash stereos.
Sealed - Sealed boxes are those that have no holes or vents in it. The only hole in a sealed box is where the subwoofer is installed. Smaller sealed boxes require more power than a larger sealed box. They provide a tight, accurate bass, while the larger sealed enclosures provide a "boomier" and louder bass.
Ported / Vented - Ported/Vented Enclosures provide an even boomier, louder bass, but less accurate then a small, sealed box. Ported enclosures typically require more airspace per sub and also less power output from an amplifier to perform correctly.
Bandpass - Bandpass enclosures make subwoofers perform efficiently, but loose. The bass is not as "boomy" as a ported enclosure nor as punchy as a sealed enclosure. Bandpass enclosures work well with lower to mid-level subwoofers.
Binding post terminals are a sturdier, more versatile type of speaker terminal. Because binding post terminals are are threaded, you can tighten them down against the wire or connector for a tight, clean connection. The most popular style of binding post terminals is known as a "5-way binding post". This type can accept bare wire, or any of the common speaker wire connectors. Binding posts with the option to be used with banana clips are even more versatile
Spring posts are a hybrid of the two. Instead of using a thread and "screwing" them tight, they use a spring to allow the wire to fit and tighten against the terminal.

I am glad I bought this speaker. You can put it pretty much anywhere. It also comes amplified so you don't have to waste money buying something else that is going to take up room. It also is a great speaker because it brings out the music. I am the type of person that I hate something after I buy it, but I have been totally happy with this. If you want bass and a louder stereo that sound great without to much vibration making music sound distorted I would definately recommend this!!!!!

I just installed this powered 10" Bazooka in my 2006 350z, it sounds great. full, rich bass. It's a much cheaper alternative to the $850 JL Stealthbox which is the only other available subwoofer that will fit in the Z's tiny rear hatch, I mounted it forward of the rear strut brace, its barley noticeable, not to mention I didn't have to mount a separate amp. I would strongly recommend this product!

You cant beat the sound that comes out of this amazing little tube. For the money its probably the best sounding woofer out there. It fits well behind the seat in my F-150 and was very easy to install. Finally the product came very fast within 2 to 3 days. I would buy from this company again in the future...:)

I bought this because there just is not much space. I had a small single 10" sub with a 400 W amp and it did not have half the bass this tube does. Not to mention it opened up space for me by removing the old Amp I had under the rear seat. That aloud me to buy a 4 channel 75W amp to power the 4 main speakers. I upgraded those with the only speakers that matched the 75M RMS power. WOW. I can turn it up so loud that it really hurts my ears and the clarity remains perfect. I had to turn the gain down a little on the 4X75 amp to even out to bass/mid/high ratio to my liking. I tested it on rock and hip hop and it can make both sound amazing if you play with the EQ in the radio. I totally recommend this for any Jeep TJ.

Has really great kick. It was a bit of a hassle to to install the straps to hold it in place but that was only because of my car so better have space if you plan to install this little guy.
