5" Active Studio Monitor

The M-505v2 is iKEY’s smallest powered monitor. It has a 5” woofer and tweeter that put out 50 + 25 watts (peak) of bi-amped power, and offers frequency response between 55Hz and 20KHz. It is a remarkably efficient and cost-effective option for many applications.

The all-new iKEY-AUDIO MV2 Series Active Studio Monitors take value-priced monitors to a whole new performance level. All the amazing sound quality and performance, including all the dynamics of the original M-Series are all still there (front-firing bass port, soft-domed tweeter, glass aramid composite woofer), but the MV2 Series feature a refined voicing and new sleek look that provides even better monitoring accuracy.

General Features

Monitor Type
Studio monitors can be passive or active. Passive monitors require an outside amplification of the audio signal. Active monitors have a built-in amplifier to provide proper output to the speakers.

This is the continuous power rating of the studio monitors. For passive monitors, this is the amount of wattage that the monitor needs to function properly. For active monitors, this is the amount of wattage that the built-in amplifier sends to each driver.

Studio Monitor Features

Enclosure Type

A non-shielded monitor can distort the image on a television or computer monitor, and possibly cause permanent damage.
