A little better than the 800.2 amp, but not much
Ok. So, I first bought the Crunch GPV 800.2 amp to power one 12" SUB in a vented box. That amp didn't cut it at all, so I returned it, and bought the next model up, this Crunch GPV1100.2 amp. Well, even in BRIDGED mode it would push the 12" sub, but it gets SUPER HOT after about 30min of music playing. Again, the 1100 watts maxx is misleading. This amp is putting out about 275 watts RMS at 14.4v, but in real world driving a car runs about 12.8-13.8v. So the amp is at 200-225 watts at best in mono bridged mode at 4 ohms. Needless to say, I am going with a MONO block Class D amp to power my 12" sub. I tried to save some money, but it ended up costing me more time and effort trying these 2 different Crunch amps.

Definitely recommend. It's a top two amp that's aesthetically pleasing. It has LOW bass and NO noise. It'll make a great stand-alone or additional amp. It pushes a pair of 550 watt, 10" subs and sounds real good.

I had this amp pushing two 10" kicker cvr's, bridged at 4ohm final load. It hits for what it is but apply to much power it isnt a clean bass and gets WICKED hot. All in all it will push a sub but only so far and with only around 450 actual rms max.
