Sonic Electronix is now carrying Audiobahn's new 2011 amplifiers. The High Current series features the same attractive appearance you are used to from Audiobahn with the chrome plated flame design top panel. The high current series also comes equipped with dual cooling fans that keep the amps temperature at a safe operating level, cobalt blue illumination to add to the eye catching appearance, and a large display voltage meter with blue illuminating redaout. A fully functional bass control remote with a blue backlight knob is also included in Audiobahn's new high current series amplifiers. There are 3 options in power to choose from which include a 2400 watt, 2200 watt, and a 2000 watt configuration, all being powered by a PWM MOSFET power supply.
StabilityAudiobahn High Current amplifiers utilize an advance power supply to increase the stability of their traditional AB MOSFET circuitry. This means High Current amplifiers can operate at much lower impedances and output more power than traditional AB MOSFET amplifiers. These competition amplifiers are stable to impedances as low as 1 ohm mono which allows them to drive maximum power to any component in a vehicle’s sound system. Audiobahn also employs unregulated power supplies which implies the higher the voltage of your electrical system, the more power the amplifier will produce. This makes these power-hunger amplifiers ideal for competition.
Digital MeterDigital meters are featured on all Audiobahn High Current amplifiers. Adding an element of control, the visual indicator allows you to see the voltage of your vehicle and how much voltage the amplifier is receiving. The digital volt meter’s cobalt blue LED illumination is visible in the dark.
4-Way Protection CircuitryAll Audiobahn amplifiers feature 4-way protection circuitry which is designed to defend the amplifiers from thermal overload, internally-contained short circuits, voltage overload and DC offset. 4-Way protection ensures that these amplifiers will continue to operate despite the “real world” mishaps that can occur in the mobile audio environment.

Best amp in the world!!!
This amp is the most durable amp I have ever saw/owned. I have pushed this amp to its max from day 1 running it bridged @ 2 ohms into two of my Audiobahn 15's in My 96' Jeep Cherokee. Even after running it for 30-45 mins non-stop wideopen the whole time with bass songs that have contunious non-stop bass you can touch the amps cooling fins and there not even a bit warm! (and this is on the 96-98 degree days that we've had when the amp is inside the burning hot black Jeep) It pushes out its full power and just yawns at it haha. This amp doesn't even have to strain at all to put out its power. It basically doesn't even have to use its dual 3" cooling fans because it never even begins to get warm :) This right here is the only amp that I'll ever have to have for the rest of my life, infact I'm thinking of getting a second one and run one of these amps bridged @ 1 ohm to each sub. The digital volt meter works flawesly and accuretly, the blue led lighting is bright and great looking, the chrome finish is TRUELY a mirror finish, the bass knob looks great and functions properly and is made out of metal and can be flush mounted on your dash for a completly factory (look like its made to be there) look. the bigest wireing that I could fit into its power terminals was 5 gauge but they never warm to the touch so there plenty big enough. 8 gauge wireing fit perfictly into the speaker terinals. Its truely worth the money and is going to help me win some carshows with its stunning good looks, and it'll never have to be replaced or upgraded to a bigger badder amp ever! All of its features worked great and ended up making a very clean undestorted output.

I bought a used (and obviously abused) one of these for $110.00 a couple of years ago. It was cosmetically very beaten up... But it performed at astronomical levels for me and if my car was not stolen I have no doubt it still would be! I blew up several sets of subs with it until I found the one to handle it (a soundqubed 18" HDC.3 WITH DUAL 1 OHM VOICE COILS.) which I figured WTH, and ran in parralel to see if a sub could finally do in the old girl... Put her out of her (asthetic at least) misery of sorts. I was over heating 250 and300 ampfuse blocks till they'd melt down and eventually short out on the car metals. I finally ran 3 separate 0 gauge powers into it from 3 separate batteries and 3 seperate 0 gauge grounds out of it which soved the wires over heating... The bass scared me the 1st time I turned it on! I thought that my 2017 Impala was shaking apart..! The roof pad was falling apart instantly.. WOW! I was completely awed at the enormous amount of (very clean) sound I was experiencing. I clamped it and it was giving me almost 3600 watts @ 1/2ohm bridged!!!!!!!!! Most amps can't do 2ohms bridged! And continued with the same setup for 4 months... Until my (baby) car was stolen from me... On a side note that soundqubed HDC.3.118 is also a Beast! They're rated 1500 rms 4500 max all sizes (because it's the same motor in them all... I had it in a 6.0 net cubic ft. Box with a 96 sq.In. opening port tuned too.... I think around like 32hz if I remember correctly and it blew away most everything it ever saw.. I'm starting to ramble now... Key point here is if you can you absolutely should get this beautiful tank of an amplifier! Regret doesn't exist in it's presence! Only skull-crushing bass!

It pushes the solobaric 15s unreal. Cracked the windshield in my civic. Would take $10,000 for it. Thank you Sonic!
