These came in a package deal from Sonic
with JBL GTO series speakers one of the decisions why I bought the GTO speakers, easy to use. Currently installing the sound system but having used similar products before these will make a good speaker sound better.

I used this product in my rear component speakers (Alpines) for the mid-range woofers in the doors to shield against vibration and they do a good job and the speakers sound great for it!

I installed the Dead Shield Sound Dampening Material under all 4 of the speakers I replaced in my truck and the stereo system sounds great, better than I expected.

Fed by a Soundstream Stealth 160wrms per channel, these sound pretty nice. Great value for the money! They are very thin, and I was concerned that they would be weak, but they sound every bit as good as my old MB quarts (which cost several times the $$). The midrange/midbass is impressive, and the tweeter is fairly smooth.
4 Stars for durability because
1. One midrange magnet straight FELL OFF. It was easy to epoxy it back in place, but somewhat alarming. SQ was unaffected, thankfully.
2. The mounting screws are lowest bidder china made items, they are the softest materiel ever, and two of them broke while threading them into pre-drilled holes.

Replaced a set of infinity reference comps in my rear doors. I blew one of my tweeters on the infinity's so for $59 I couldn't lose. While instaling the comps the magnet assembly of the midrange fell off (its glued on). I decided to use the vibe tweeters and xovers with the infinity mids. The vibe audio tweeters sound better than the infinitys, but the vibe audio mids definitely do not compare. I tested the remaining vibe mid up against the reference mids and there is no comparison they bottom out xovere'd at 80 hz 24db /oct at about 75 watts while the infinitys take the full 125 watts rms my infinity kappa 4 pushes. overall the tweeters are worth the price. They're very efficient and sound smooth, I needed to fade to the front because I was hearing the rear comps over the the pg rsdc 6.5 comps I have in front. On a side note there isn't any tweeter attenuation but so far they blend very well with the rest of my system.
