Effects Features

Effect Type
The type of effect processing performed by the unit. Dynamic processing deals with the amplitude of a signal whereas time-based processing deals with the frequency. Multi-effects processors are capable of performing a variety of both types of processing.

In the case of limiters (which are pretty much just stricter compressors), you'll find higher ratios like 10:1, 15:1, 20:1 and so on.
