It seems that you misunderstand how the final impedance is established. The Subwoofers and How they are wired establishes the final impedance At The Amp. Having the Dual-4ohm subwoofers wired in Series/Parallel to a 4ohm load establishes Exactly that, a 4ohm final load. The amplifier cannot and will not change that. So, to answer your question; No, you will Not get a 2ohm final load, it will be a 4ohm load because the Subwoofers have established that. Furthermore, when you BRIDGE two channels most amplifiers (including LA590) will be obligated to a 4ohm final load or greater, because it is NOT stable at a load below that when you bridge the amp. This is why multi-channel amps are not practical for subwoofers.
In regards to your setup, it is set up properly, and cannot be done any other way; It is set to a 4ohm load.
EACH channel can hold as many speakers as you wish , as long as the Final Impedance of EACH TERMINAL! is no lower than 2ohms AND they match. However, that is NOT very ideal, and we do not encourage to do so.
The figures on the amp seem a bit too ambitious to put out the numbers it suggests , so ideally its best to Only use two subs, or two Speakers. Please wire accordingly.
