Great sub..
I bought this sub as a replacement for an old used JL I bought that ended up not working. I an used to alpine type r subs but they are too deep for my truck...this sub sounds great, hits hard, gets damn low and was very affordable. Would definitely recommend..

I purchased this sub as a package deal with a Belva sealed enclosure (.75-1 cu ft). The car is a '13 FRS with the upgraded Bespoke stereo & is powered by a PPI mini class d amp (forgot the model, but was purchased from Sonic a couple years ago for use on another car; it's gold/black and measures about 7"x8", you can find it if you looked), pushing about 300x1 bridged. I've had this sub installed for 30 days now.
I bought this as a stop gap until I pick up a JL Stealthbox in a year or so, but I'm thinking now that i could be satisfied for longer. I've installed sound systems in every vehicle I've owned and used various subs for the last 25 years, but I always gravitate towards JL, Pioneer Premier, Phoenix Gold, & Alpine Type R subs. However, I'd put these up against anything out there of that caliber. In my application, I've found that they play smooth, deep, and are surprisingly musical. I listen mostly to edm, trap, and hip hop/rap (75%); and the remaining 25% is classic & modern rock. My ground-pounding SPL days are far behind me, but I occasionally "want to make my presence known", so to speak. This sub can do that, and still be musical.
It's no secret that Precision Power is not it once was in its early 90's heyday, they've had issues, but I'm convinced they are on their way back with this sub (and the Precision Power amp I'm using).
I picked up this sub with the enclosure for about $75 on a special from Sonic, it's easily been the best car audio value I've encountered.

This subwoofer works good in a small seal box, in my case pickup truck.
You can not beat the price for what you get.
Awesome sub
I've owned several subs over the years and this is one of the best. I only have 1 in the back of my Jeep Liberty. I wanted to save space but still have a little bass. I actually have way more bass than I wanted. This sub rocks. It looks great and sounds smooth and hits low. I have it in a 1 cubic foot sealed box and it seems to be the perfect size. It only took a few hours of listening to break in and that's when it came alive. Seriously, it has to be one of the best car audio purchases I've ever made.
