OK..I recently put a system in my 2013 WRX. Sundown audio Zv.4 12" D1 on a Massive Audio D8000.1 wire at .5 ohm, amp smoked in a month. Then went with a CT Sounds 1400.1 at .5 ohm. never dropped below 14 volts but amp was cutting off every low bass note. Went to pick up fuses at stereo shop and saw it for about $170 and figured what the heck. I know Maxxsonics does not recommend this amp below 1 ohm however I figured what the heck it was $170. Wired at .5 ohm... 6 months later gets played about 2 or 3 hours a day, pushes the crud outta that Zv.4 Doesn't get hot, no cutting out, ect. It doesn't push the 2000 rms it says but it outperforms my previous 2. Definitely looking into those Hifonics from Maxxsonics now
