When replacing your factory radio with an after-market car stereo, the Scosche GM02B wire harness is a must for a quick and clean installation. It eliminates cutting your OE radio plug. After connecting it, your install is simple as the wires will color-match and easily connect to the after-market stereo. Without the Scosche GM02B, you would have to cut the OE radio plug and manually test each wire to connect to your after-market receiver.

In addition, because you do not have to cut your OE radio plug off, the GM02B allows you to reinstall your factory receiver if necessary. A great example is if you sold your car, but wanted to keep your after-market radio and re-install your factory stereo receiver. We also recommend the Scosche BOBAZT for a quick connection that is sure to last.

will this adapt my bose speakers to another stero ?
clarence c on Jul 30, 2014
Best Answer: I'm going to say "no", because if you have Bose speakers, you most likely have a Bose amp driving them. (I never found mine, in my 2000 Camaro, but it was there and well-hidden)

You can either run all new speaker wiring from the harness to the speakers (prepare to disassemble the interior of your car) or get something like the Metra 70-1857 for Bose-equipped vehicles. I went the first route on the Camaro (two weeks), but bought that Bose adapter for a 2006 Chevy pick-up and did it in less than two hours.

Very important! Enter your exact vehicle make, model, year and trim level and search for this or another Metra Bose adapter. Metra makes myriad adapters, and choosing the wrong one could destroy that hidden amp. Also, on a Bose system, the warning-chime (keys, lights-on, seat belts) is generated by the stereo, so the adapter will be generating it instead.

Scosche GM02B is good to 2010 impala LS?
cesar on Apr 15, 2015
Best Answer: Hello Cesar,

Being that your vehicle is well outside the stated "1988-2005 GM Vehicles", the harness will not work. That vehicle will require at least the Axxess XSVI-2105-NAV , but may need a more premium harness depending on the detailed trim level. Please use the link below to establish which harness that vehicle requires. Metra also has a fantastic Tech Support department if you need further assistance.

I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe LT. I currently have the stock stereo with CD/Tape. The tape is in the lower console separate from the stereo and CD. The system has (front doors) two 1" tweets, and two 6.5"/ (rear door) two 6.5"/ (Rear cab) two 2", and an 8" sub. I have Onstar but this is currently disconnected. The system has its own amp for the sub. I am connecting a Pyle 7" motorized touch screen and was wondering if this would be the correct harness for the job. As far as I know this is not a Bose system. The back of the stock deck has three connectors. The main which looks like the product seen (one block with four separate sections 6x4 pin, stacked on a 6x4 pin). Another Flat connector (with 9 pins, I understand this to connect to the amp), and then the Antenna. I believe this product to be the correct piece of equipment for the job but, I was wondering if there may be a more complete harness kit that would include the amp harness, or anything separate for the amp harness? Thank you for reading this lengthy question and much appreciation for any help.

Best Answer: Hello,

Assuming non-amplified, this is the harness you seek.
