Awesome
I suggest anyone who is looking on buying a great speaker at a decent price, I would go with American bass. American bass is better than kicker in my opinion. The sound that comes out of this speaker is incredible and I only have 1-12. You can't go wrong with American bass!

Pros:
Big 220 Magnet, Big 3 inch Voice coils, dual stitching, 1000 rms, Brand Name has won some competitions. Hits all the lows you can think of. Best Boom for the Bucks
Cons:
The Pictures shows terminals for the tinsel leads. Mine did not come with terminals but was wired with 10 gauge wire straight from the tinsel leads. If you like soldering this is the sub for you.
Conclusion:
The amount of sound you hear from this sub outlast anything in its price range. American Bass XFL 1222 truly goes beyond cosmetics and focus all resources to what actually matters. Big 220oz Magnet, 3 inch coils, dual stitching, 1000 rms standard.
American Bass truly represents America by being fat, load, obnoxious, and independent. I wouldn't have anything else in my ride.

Ok, so I have two of these babies in a 6.1 cu ft box net 80sq in of port and its tuned to 28hz. When I say loud and low, they get down!I have two Q1-2200.1's powering them and they couldnt be happier. I hit 142.7db at 29hz. I had a smaller box tuned to 33hz and it was wayyy louder but it just didnt extend the way I needed. All in All, impressive sub for the money! But the positive terminal broke off one of my subs! Thats the only thing I would say bad about them.
