2011 Avalanche with OnStar, Sirius XM and backup carmera (displays in rear view mirror), no Bose. I just ordered a Jensen VX7020, gm1598ab Scosche GM1598AB, and a os5 PAC OS-5 crab Scosche CRAB / CRA. With the PAC module do I need to install the stereo's Bluetooth? Will the backup camera display appear on the screen? Can I install the GPS antenna in the stereo compartment?
A shopper on Dec 10, 2015
Best Answer: - do I need to install the stereo's Bluetooth?

Not necessarily, the PAC module will retains Factory Bluetooth in 2009+ model vehicles. However, you may still want to consider installing the bluetooth feature from the Jensen VX7020, as a 'backup source'.

- Will the backup camera display appear on the screen?

Yes. If installed correctly, the PAC module Retains back-up camera signals. Consult your installer.

- Can I install the GPS antenna in the stereo compartment?

We do NOT recommend that. GPS antennas need a clear view of the sky to have optimum signal.
