good product and a good price. Only thing that I can suggest is to include antenna adapter when you purchase this product.

I like this radio. It was easy to install and sounds great. I mostly selected this item for the HD radio, but I have never used it. I couldn't figure out from the instructions how to switch it over to HD mode. The remote is simple but nice for use in my fish house. It pulls in a lot of stations with just a cheap rubber antenna.

this is a great product and great value for the money. the only con that this deck has is that the voltage output for the remote wire was not sufficient for my amp. other than that i have not found any other bad things about it.

I bought this refurbished unit as an upgrade from the JVC KD-HDR1. It has several improvements that make it worth the upgrade: the mini jack on the front, ability to preset HD2 and HD3 stations, adjustable input level for the AUX IN, easier access to equalizer and automatic clock setting. I have this connected to an otherwise stock Chrysler with Infinity amp/speakers and it sounds great. Some reviewers have complained that the equalizer cannot be adjusted - that is not true - just press SEL after choosing the EQ and you can scroll through and adjust the seven-band settings (RTFM). I am rating the durability based on the previous JVC HD radio - two years and no problems.

Like most people who have ordered this stereo, the CD eject noise started. It sounds like something is breaking inside, but the manufacturer says it's just a firmware update. Well, after 3 attempts to upload the firmware, I still have the horrible crunching noise inside. The effort it took to actually get the stereo into the truck, I didn't think it was worth sending back since it still plays music just fine. Other than that, the controls are somewhat counterintuitive, but after a week or two, I'm used to it.

For the price this is a very nice car audio receiver... I enjoy all of the features: MP3, HD radio, and convenient front panel auxiliary input. The only negative I can think of is the audio controls such as the separate bass and treble controls... I still haven't found them. There are preset EQ settings, which is ok... but I like controlling these settings myself. And apparently, you can... I just can't figure out how or where. Even the manual was no help in this area. Everything else on this rig is top notch in my book.

very good product, if you have never had JVC controls are a little weird, but no problems at all.

I'm an simple guy, I appreciate intuitive programming of electronic equipment. This in-dash unit is a button pushing nightmare of biblical proportions, laughs in the face of user friendliness. Save your pennies and buy an Alpine.
