A good amp, dollar for dollar.
I am very pleased with this amp! It was supposed to be temporary, until I could afford to repair my popular brand, pricey amp (the repair quote is double the price of this Sound Storm).
- It is very durable, does not cut out, easy to mount, and can be used with various speaker setups, unlike other amps in this price range.
In the near future, I'll definitely buy another Sound Storm!

Installed with a pioneer deh-3000ib head unit and pioneer 6x8 4-way speakers. Sounded decent and got loud (nothing mind blowing for a guy that likes his music loud though), but removed for a day to try powering my speakers with the head unit. Sq shot way up (especially at louder volume) and spl remains the same if not louder than with the amp. Surprisingly still had excellent bass response from my 6x8s even after removing the amp. All in all felt like I wasted money on a 4 channel I didn't really need. Worked, just didn't do it as cleanly as my head units amp, and was overrated for rms power.

Not bad for a budget amp, don't expect big things, 50 watts per channels x 4, really? Not really, more like 20-25 watts, which is not much more than some head units. Used it as bridge when my Hifonics Warror-Eagle bit the dust. Needed the small footprint.
When I had enough bucks upgraded to Kenwood XR-4S.

I didn't own this amp for very long. It was purchased to power my mids and highs but it had an issue with its operation. Sonic Electronix took care of it and I chose to get a store credit in which I later used on a Viper 5704 alarm.

-Shipped fast - 4days
-Arrived with everything in box, clean, undamaged.
-HI-Inputs did not work, however the RCA inputs did.
-Looks clean and sturdy.
-Was easy to hook up, and still works today (4 month daily use)
-Underpowered, no where near 50w @4ohm x4.
-Couldn't power 60w RMS - 120w MAX 4ohm speaker.
-Did however power a 25w MAX 4ohm speaker.
-Overall it's clean and looks nice but it doesn't supply what it says it supplies. More like 30watt rms x4.

Bought this on a whim for 45 bucks. Didnt expect much, but was i suprised. Those cryin dudes up the ways sayin that the rms was 22wts. Need a head examination! And i have a pioneer 6200bt head unit that doesnt compare n amplification. This little baby powers 4 mbquart onyx 6x9's and 2 6.5" quart onyx annd on pair of kicker ks 6x9's in the front door of my Tahoe. The real amazing thing is it gets barely warm after long periods of use! I liked it so much got a 1200w one to fire my rock.Fosgate 12" punch subs! Im an old dude..The kids with thier 5grand systems are truely amazed in this town. I recommend this little baby all day long. Just wish it was able to b daisy chained. For 45 bucks i aint complaining though.

i think this boy is enough for amplifying your factory speakers , i installed it with x2 pair of jbl's speakers set max wattage 380 for the 4 speakers i don't think this thing pushes 100 watt for them its not close for 20 watt per speaker , don't repeat my mistake if you have a set of high end speaker get a high end amp with them from brands like pioneer, kenwood, rockford
i forgot to mention it make annoying noise with rpm load when you accelerate you will hear more annoying noise from the speakers i think because its trying to reach its peak power .

What do you expect from an amp that costs less than 50 bucks? Don't expect much of anything, and this amp will fill the bill.
The output from this amp comes from two old-school two-channel hybrid modules that produce no more than 16WRMS per channel. That's right. Sixteen. There is no switching power supply in this amp, the output modules run on straight battery 12V, so there's no way it can produce more power than that running an old school class AB power module.
How do I know all this? Because the amp failed after 3 months of use - blown output module - and I repaired it.

For the price you can't go wrong. If your running loud subs and need the speakers to keep up with the bass then go with this amp if money's a problem. I have had this amp for six months and it still performs like it did the day I got it.

I was looking for a small budget amp. This fit the bill. It was rated at 50 watts rms a channel and cost about 50 shipped. Not a bad little amp but I am pretty sure it is not putting out 50 amps per channel. For the budget conscious person this is not a bad amp but for a little more you could find better. If you budget is super low go for this amp. If you can spend more shop around.
