Power Acoustik is Cheap Quality.
Is cheap products. I have owned power acoustic amps that r older an seemed better then. The newer ones I think are junk. Not really worth the money cause rms is wayyy over rated. a 2000 watt rms power acoustic is really like 500-600 watts rms. just spend another 100-200 an get better

Bought this to replace an Alpine 4 channel amp. I was looking for a 4-channel amp bridgeable and stable at 4-ohms to run a set of Polk DXi series component speakers in conjunction with a 10-inch Kicker sub and two 8-inch generic slimline subs. In comparison to the Alpine 4-channel amp this is definitely more powerful.
This doesn't mean louder, it means cleaner (remember the volumetric scale is exponential, therefore twice the volume requires 10x the power). with the Alpine amp I was getting distortion around volume 28 (out of 35) and had to severely adjust my EQ to compensate (sub output higher, frequency cutoff on my HU at 80Hz to the Polk's, etc).
With this sub I can run up to 30 volume crystal clear with only the 40Hz built-in amp cutoff. I've also been able to neutralize my HU equalizer.
I run my subs at +3db and flat EQ otherwise. I get crystal clear sound and distortion doesn't really start until 32 volume level.
My only complaint: the mount points on the amp are made of plastic, and I had one snap off completely when bolted to the back of the back seat of my wagon. Now instead of using screws to secure the amp to the seat frame, I have a combination of bolts and a rachet strap securing the amp.

Not bad for the money it is a 4 channel amplifier not a Monoblock,
don't pay attention to the max power ratings, this amplifier like most 4 channel amplifiers are typically used to drive mids and highs not sure why someone would need over 600 watts to drive full-range speakers, for me this amplifier is powerful enough to run all my component speakers, I recommend this amplifier.
