Numark NDX900

The Numark NDX900 DJ Controller has a layout that should be familiar to beginner and expert DJs alike with a 7" touch-sensitive illuminated platter that can be automatically calibrated. It also has a smooth front-loading CD drive and an easily accessible, top-facing USB port.

The NDX900 Controller has extraordinarily powerful remixing, sampling, scratching, looping and effects control capabilities all in a compact chassis with a professional look and solid feel. It also features a large backlit display for keeping tabs on the deck even in low lighting conditions. Through it, you can monitor BPM, CD text and MP3 ID3 tags, navigate folders, and view the status of effects on this large, bright screen.

Dynamic Deck:
DJs everywhere will appreciate the NDX900 Controller's smooth-loading disc slot that features Numark's Anti-Shock™ skip protection technology that will keep the music alive when the crowd starts really stomping. With the NDX900 unit, you can scratch music just like vinyl on traditional turntables thanks to start-and-stop time controls - no need for time code input. Features such as Auto Cue, Instant Start, and Stutter Start offer quick and easy playback of the track just the way you like.

With the NDX900, track selection is a snap (or a twist, in this case) with rotary control, and you can playback tracks in single, continuous, program and shuffle modes. The Fader Start feature enables instant playback of your cued track upon movement of the crossfader on a compatible mixer for seamless transitions. Throw your unique flavor in the mix with NDX900's beat-synced DSP effects like flanger, phaser, pan, chop, echo and filter. Each effect is thoroughly adjustable, and with the wet-dry fader, you can control them all.

The NDX900 DJ Controller contains a versatile set of pitch and beat controls that will assist you with harmonic mixing and beat matching. Just start playing a track, and the NDX900 Controller will automatically analyze its BPM (Beats Per Minute, or tempo), and will display it on its screen. There is also a Tap Tempo feature for manual entry of BPM. You can also alter the track’s BPM by ± 6, 12, 25 and 100% using the pitch fader. Another great feature of the NDX900 Controller is Key Lock, which holds the pitch of the track in each of those ranges while you independently manipulate its BPM. The NDX900 also offers a set of pitch-bend controls on each track for swift and easy tweaks adjustable in half steps (semitones).

Real-Time Remixing:
The NDX900 Controller offers a comprehensive range of remixing features for spontaneous creativity. The NDX900 Controller has an internal sampler with overlay and reverse controls so you can quickly grab samples and trigger them on the three sample/hot cue trigger pads whenever you want while you mix. Additionally, the NDX900 Controller features seamless looping on a set of user-friendly controls including adjustable loop-out points. Numark’s familiar Bleep/Reverse enables you to keep the music flowing while you reverse or cut the track(s). Finally, five stutter starts along with cue point memory storage round out this tremendous deck's remixing potential.
