Don't let the no-nonsense exterior fool you. Infinity's INF-MR180 CD receiver looks like a serious piece of gear because it's built to survive the extremes of a marine environment. But that doesn't mean it's not ready to party at the drop of a dock line. Whether you're dashing around the lake or cruising up the river, this tough, versatile AM/FM/CD receiver will keep you and your crew entertained. You can play your favorite CDs, including music you're ripped to disc in MP3 or WMA formats. Or, if you don't want to bring along an album full of discs, you can plug a music player into the aux input or a thumb drive into the USB port. Built-in Bluetooth lets you stream music from your Android phone or other compatible device. The INF-MR180 includes two sets of preamp outputs, so you can expand your system with marine amps in the future. A clear LED display lets you see what you're listening to with just a glance, while the weather-resistant, UV-stable face and controls will stand up to sun, salt and moisture when you're riding the waves. |
Why should I buy a marine receiver? |
There are few things better than relaxing to your favorite music when you're enjoying a day on the water. Sure, you can put a car stereo in your boat, but a marine receiver is designed to withstand the extremes of a marine environment, so it'll give you years of musical pleasure. Many of today's marine receivers are also equipped with features like built-in Bluetooth, iPod controls, satellite radio capability and connections for amplifiers, so you can enjoy great sound and functionality when you're out for a cruise. |

Great job sonic!
An email was sent saying my product would be delayed and wouldn't make the proposed arrival date, I explained to Jonathan in customer service how imperative it was the head unit arrived before the holiday, and he made it happen! A+ customer service.
The mr180 hasn't been anything but a pleasure so far. I installed it on an 05 Yamaha sx230ho with little modification. Check the color and placement of wires on the 15 pin connector before you connect them to the stock harness, mine required cut/strip/solder/heat shrink, as some applications do.
The bluetooth pairing works fine with an galazys5 and changes easily to different bluetooth devices.
