Wow
I was a little skeptical over weather or not this thing was gonna sound good, but lemme tell you this little thing is a monster. Ive got it on a kicker 500.1 and it slamsssssss. I had the l5 15 before this and i was very disappointed,i built my own box, thats why when i bought this i went with the kicker box/sub combo hoping to get the right sound and boy i sure did! i recommend you get these subs with there specified box. Thanks sonic!

I have had this sub for about 6 months now. It's loud and really good clean sound just can't hit all the low notes like a 12. for the size is great and i still have a lot of trunk space so its good for traveling

it fits great under the back seat of my 06 chevy 1500 ext cab. Overall it sounds the way I wanted. Hits hard enough for me. I listen mostly to rock or metal. Sound quality is good with classic rock and pounds good for the heavier metal, but wont rattle your mirrors off. In my opinion it was a great buy for the price and I'm glad I went with this setup opposed to a Bazooka style tube. I have it paired with Alpine Type R speakers in the front powered to 100 RMS each and an Alpine head unit. I am very happy with the sound quality and volume I get out of this setup.

Well its a Solo Baric: its square, it bumps good.
remember it cost more because its designed to produce more bass at a smaller compact size. Fits great in sport cars and truck for those that have small trunks looking for more bass

I would definitely recommend if you're looking for budget audio in tight places.
Pro's: Louder than my CVR 12" with more RMS wattage. It hits low's very nicely to me. Only $200!
Cons: Can't hit high bass (who needs it.)

I bought this Kicker a few months ago and am completely pleased, I had purchased many 10" inch subs and was never happy with the sound in my Chevy Truck, I finally came across this Sub and decided to give it a try, as the Sonic Sales men said that with this sub in the kicker box would work behind my seat and would hit very hard with the mono amp that I am using. He was right for the first time I can close all the doors and roll up all the windows on my truck and step outside and hear it clear as a bell. The sub hits so hard my rear view mirror fell OFF...

found this helpful. This is a great system if you want a loud system, but dont buy it thinking its the best sound quality, the sub just doesnt have the range for good quality. I owned a 10" CVR before and it was a huge diffrence, but still a good buy for annoying the neighbors!
