I just recently installed the MAX675VD in my car and its awesome. the double din unit looks great and fits very clean in my wrx. This unit has some great features, but the one that made me buy it was the ipod interface. When you plug in your ipod, the head unit takes over the controls, so you control everything with the touchscreen. It also allows you to view your ipod videos. The screen clarity is very nice, I would say about an 8 out of 10, all depending on the quality of the dvd or ipod video. Overall, I think there may be some better double din dvd monitors out there, but it would be very hard to find one for a better price. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and i recommend this product and sonic electronix.

I love this thing. I purchased this along with four Concept 9.2" headrests for my Envoy and it all looks great. My kids are now begging me for rides to school. :) I did the install myself and although it took me several hours to make sure I had the wiring correct before I plugged in, I have to say the hardware mounting itself was easier than expected. The screen is not as crisp as my HDTV at home (Don't ask me why I expected it to be), but it's definitely clear enough; bright too. I bought the CCA-673 for my iPod and can run the video to all five screens. I have two kicker subs as well so my music videos sound and look great. I'm very happy with my purchase. I spent less than half of what it would have cost me at any local audio store.
If you want to bump your music videos while you drive, you will need to add the PAC TR-7 which is also sold here. By default, the Clarion will not allow you to play videos unless you're parked but this little 20 dollar piece changes all that. If anybody's interested, this is what I bought for the envoy and it was all I needed for the install (minus the male/male RCA couplers which I bought at a local electronics store. There was no need for additional video cables. The headrest cables are long enough.
