I use it as a sub-woofer for my home stereo system. We wired it up in a dual-voice coil configuration. Solid base without a big unwanted boomy peak. It would be nice if this configuration was documented somewhere. My son purchased one a year earlier and I liked his so much I purchased one too. It made a noticeable difference in how my speaker system sounds. Much better.

This sub sounds good. Doesn't need a lot of power to sound good. I have mine in a sealed box built to proper specs. I own a extended cab Frontier and it fills it with good sounding bass

Installed the BA G112-44 in the stock rear deck cut-out of a 94 Lexus GS300. Once I removed the factory mounting bracket for the stock 10" sub the BA dropped perfectly in to the stock mounting position. When I received the unit I read the paperwork and noticed that the manufactures rating was 200rms! Immediately I called Sonicelectronix to be sure I got the right sub. This particular install require low wattage (factory amp). Customer Service stated to me that when used in a free-air application that they recommended 50 RMS. I have no idea how the recommendation came about but under A/B testing this sub needs every bit of 150rms watts to perform. With all this in mind the value of this sub can not be overstated! The fuses to change from 2ohm to 8ohms alone is worth the money. And in the free-air application even with 400rms watts going to it, it never bottomed out! Quite impressive for a free-air $80 sub. Highly recommended for any application.

I purchased 4 of these subs from Sonic electronix (they were great). 2 subs acoustically paired in same chamber of a still quite small box (4 cuft total). Running 200 RMS to each one I really sound like I have thousands of dollars in my Honda Passport! I am using a HiFonics Amp Brutus. Amazing--Boston Acoustic is up there with the audio gods as well! Sound quality is wonderful.

I recently purchased 2 12" Boston G1 subs, they are wired to a 400 watt Rockford Fosgate amp, I had really wanted to go with Alpine, but my dad instead got me Boston. I am very impressed, the sound is very crisp and clear, they cover low bass amazingly. I do not plan on getting rid of them anytime soon.
