Pretty good
This unit is easy to install and even easier to use. There are not too many features but it is great for the money. Also there is no video input so you can't play video games on it or things like that. The audio in only plays a blank screen and doesn't allow media to be selected from the screen. This unit does however make the subwoofer's bang. This unit is great for car audio beginners.

dual xdvd700
great cool looking stereo. i like it but would not recommend it. its way too sensitive on scratched cds & it wont play burned cds. neither cd-r nor cd-rw. don't waste your money.

Junk
I never really trusted Dual, but I bought this product because my wife wanted it for her car. When I noticed it only had one RCA output for subs, I knew then already that I wasn't going to like it. I don't feel this deck sounds like a real head unit should with a pair of subs hooked up to it. I feel that this unit sounds shallow and weak. I would not recommend this product unless you are just buying it so that you can have video in you car.

awesome head unit
it's done nothing but impress me since it survived a role over accident with me last dec and it is one of the coolest head units i've ever seen my friends and girls when they get in my truck i pop out the lcd touch screen and i get the o wow from them all the time it's an awesome little head unit and i love it only thing is lately it's been causing lines on the right side of the lcd screen i'm thinking this is causes cause i might not have things grounded right and the power supply is being run by a bad cap so other then that it's a great headunit i highly recommend it

Worth every penny.
I read the 2 previous reviews and was a bit worried, but then my worries disappeared after I realized that I was buying exactly what was described.
1) The unit is $259.99. I understand I am not buying an DDX8019 or some other super high end unit. Needless to say, this unit does everything I expected and more. The DVD playback is fantastic, screen quality is clean and features are a plenty for the price range.
2) The previous reviewer stated he doesn't like a "mono sub output" and that made the unit bad, but an audiophile realizes that all your subwoofer signals are going to be a mono signal coming from your monoblock amplifier; additionally, for those like the other reviewer, you can just get a Y-adapter if you really want 2 plugs coming out from it (its all the same).
3) It will improve your factory speakers compared to your factory stereo unless you are trying to put it in place of a Mercedes or BMW high end factory audio system. It made my PT Cruiser sound much better.
4) I have had mine for about 2 months and it still works new, so I'm happy :).
Maybe I am a guy who views the glass full, or maybe I just know a good deal when I see one ;).

good buy!
I have no problems with the unit, i can play all cd's even burned, i have burned alot of cd's and haven't had a problem! only thing i don't like is it dosn't have an output for a multi disk cd changer, but if you burn all your cd's to mp3 and put it on a dvd R then you have no problems there, just bypass the parking brake by pressing the parking break on then off then only one click and you have dvd functions!!! just like those dumb running lights! one click does alot of difference on the pocket book!! only knock down is for not having a input for a back up cam!!

Wow its pretty awesome!
I bought a version of this about a week ago (The XDVD710) and it is amazing for the price! It does everything I want it to do! The one I got came with the iplug adapter and the ipod cable, which charges my ipod as well! For wiring my subs, I just got a "y" Adapter. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who wants quality entertainment at a great price!

Excellent!
I was a bit skeptical when I purchased this product but was amazed with the amount of features for it's low price point. Value for the dollar it can't be beat.

Everything you need
Got this for Christmas. Had it installed teh day after. Since then, i hate driving with people that don't have one. For $250 you get all teh functionality of a $700 In-dash. Haven't had any problems with it since Dec. Would highly reccomend to anyone who is either just starting out like i was or wants to save some money and get a quality screen.
