Works well, no complaints. Black base is better, I believe

September 28, 2014

Although this is just a fuse holder, I'm satisfied. Shipping from Sonic Electronix (my first order, also) was very fast--!

The snap-off top releases from the base and snaps back on with a good feel. There are mounting holes for custom mounting, one on each end of the base below the wire entrance area. I used black car stereo installation straps to make a custom mount to the side of my engine for my 2003 Toyota Avalon to provide a more solid mount, via existing bolts near the camshaft cover.

The fuse holder mount studs work well and I have no complaints. More or less identical to other ANL fuse holders I've used like those by Stinger.

Note: I did add two zip-ties to hold the top cover in place, just in case and due to the vibration that parts in the engine compartment are subject to.

Worked for what I needed.

Great for the price. I bought 5 so I don't need any more but, if I did, I'd get the same ones.

It is Cheap, But it did the job.

October 21, 2012

It's a fuse and it's doing its job. Even right now.
It didn't fall apart or malfunctioned when I am using it. Used it for many months and it has not blown. Great value and reliability, what more can you ask for the price?

Why did you choose this?
Sonic Electronix Store
the one which have 125A, whereas others have 100 or 150A...too low and too big. I hav 4 amps.

great buy

The fuse that was included in the wiring kit was a little too large for what my system required.
ROBERT T on Jun 11, 2015
I've had trouble finding an ANL fuse between 100 amps and 125 amps. Luckily Scosche makes one. FYI, it works, as I accidentally lodged a screwdriver between the alternator stud and one of the bolts on the housing which blew my fuse quite spectacularly.
