Learn more about the dlsiridium62iThe DLS Ultimate Iridium series speaker system is one of the best from this Swedish competition-oriented brand of car audio equipment. The Ultimate series speakers were designed to offer excellent performance and ease of installation that surpasses everything else. To go beyond the normal, DLS was critical with their material selection for these speakers. For clean high frequency response silk soft dome tweeters were used which offer superb transparency to give music that all around feel. High power handling results in more headroom so hybrid ferrite/neodymium magnets were used to bring power and heat efficiency to the table. Iridium speakers have non-pressed paper cones which have an easier roll off and allow for more shallow crossover slopes. Separating these speakers and providing the correct frequencies is a switchable crossover that contains foil coils and selectable tweeter attenuation. Mash this all together and you have an incredibly accurate and natural sounding speaker line that has been in car audio competitions around the world, literally!
