I tried these in the rear deck of both a Nissan Sentra and Volvo s40. In both cases I couldn't get the desired sound level or power handling designated in the specs. Maybe they work better in the doors?
That said, I eventually used them in some speaker boxes I built. They sound decent if you put them in a large enough enclosure (2 cu ft).
Respectable value for 2 inexpensive woofers w/crossover if you can find the right application for them.

I would recommend MB Quart to any high end music lover. These components were perfect for me, because I already had the tweeters, so all I needed was the the woofers. I have tried almost every name brand out there, MB Quart outperforms them all!

I bought these as an add-a-woofer to pair them with the MB Quart RUA 210 (4" Component Kit) and complete a 3-Way component kit to fit a VW GTI MKV. Not only do they fit but they sound 10x better than the factory woofers, the 250Hz crossover point is perfect for those cars because it sends most of the vocals to the mid-range driver. The amount of bass (80-250Hz) these put out is very impressive, driving them with an Alpine MRP-F250 bridged to 100w x 2 RMS. Can't ask for more value for the great price SonicElectronix offers.

I bought these a while ago and installed them in my Acura TL front doors to replace the 5.25 infinity mid component speaker and I'm currently running them only off my Alpine head unit. I was impressed with how they sounded. The midbass speakers were able to produce clean mid notes as good as or even better than the component speaker I had in there as well hitting the lower bass notes that the component speaker was unable to. I know these speakers will sound a lot better when I run them off an amp and properly seal them. The only problem was the speakers were a little larger than the 1 inch spacer so I had to file down the inside and drill new holes in the door to make it fit properly.
this is the best company i can find on the internet. i love this site i have bought several sets of subs and amps from them always good condition when they arrive in just a couple days i will always shop here due to their amazing service. thank yall for your excellent service to your customers
